1. The Service
Family Sentinel LLC ("we") provides fraud detection and alerting for enrolled household members: monitoring of authorized email, phone, and financial-transaction feeds, AI-assisted risk classification, and alerts to designated family contacts. The Service is advisory and read-only by default; optional Active Protection features are enabled only by separate written consent.
2. What the Service is not
Not an emergency service, insurance product, fiduciary service, or a guarantee against loss.
Not legal, financial, or investment advice.
We do not take custody of funds or credentials, and hold no authority to act on any account.
No detection service catches everything. Fraud tactics change daily; the Service reduces risk but cannot eliminate it.
3. Your responsibilities
Provide accurate enrollment information and valid legal authority to consent (yours, or a power of attorney/guardianship for the enrolled person).
Keep family-contact details current and respond to alerts.
Do not use the Service to monitor anyone without lawful consent.
Pay subscription fees; applicable taxes are added as required by law.
4. Term, cancellation, refunds
Subscriptions are month-to-month. Cancel anytime, effective at the end of the billing period; data is deleted per the Privacy Policy. We may suspend service for non-payment or misuse, with notice.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses caused by fraud that was not detected, alerts not acted upon, or outages of third-party services (Google, Microsoft, banks, carriers). Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the prior twelve months. No consequential damages.
6. Disputes
Texas law governs; venue in Denton County, Texas. Contact us first — most issues resolve with one email to hello@familysentinel.org.
7. Changes
We provide 30 days' notice of material changes to the Service or these terms.
